Sunday, August 7

Lynne Hart and her jazz quartet will perform this Sunday morning at St. James Lutheran Church in Rock Island following the 10:00 a.m. service. Lynne and her group is the featured group every Thursday night at Cabana's in the District of Rock Island.

The 200th Birthday of Clarissa C. Cook Celebration: A Woman Before Her Time will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Clarissa C. Cook Home located at 100 S. Pine St. in Davenport. There will be a conversation with Clarissa at 3 p.m.  Since 1882, area elderly have been turning to the Clarissa C.
