Karen O'Connor will present Your Family Tree: Finding Your Roots at the Davenport Fairmount St. Library at 1 p.m. Following the program, attendees may go to the Richardson-Sloane Special Collections Center at the Main Street library to conduct research.  For more information, call 563-421-2198.

Mayor Bill Gluba will speak on Youth Activities in Davenport at the Evening Optimist Club meeting at 6 p.m. in the Davenport’s Clarion Hotel Conference Center.

Open-mic night with Alan Sweet and Siri Mason will begin at 7 p.m. at Mojo's Cafe, River Music Experience in Davenport. Musicians are invited to play solo or with the house band. For more information, call 563-326-1333, ext. 105.

Scott McLeod, a leading academic expert on school technology, will be speaking at Bettendorf High School at 7 p.m. in the Fine Arts Room on the impact of technology on 21st century learners.  The public is invited to attend this free presentation.

Tomorrow morning, Marc Prensky and Dr. Mark Bauerlein will debate technology and its impact on social relationships for the convocation program at 10:30 a.m. at Augustana College’s Centennial Hall.  Questions will also be taken from the audience.  For more information, call 309-794-7494.
