Here's a link to flood information

The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities will update the spring flood outlook tomorrow (Friday). But residents should pay more attention to the 7-day forecast. That's according to Hydrologist Marin Stoflet, who says temperatures and precipitation this weekend and next week will determine how fast or slow the Mississippi River rises and how high the first crest will be next month.

It's supposed to be cold and dry which is good news because that will slow down the snowmelt rate in Wisconsin and Minnesota. She will learn about the potential for more spring flooding over the next three months, after forecasters complete a computer model they're creating for the updated outlook. The weather service hopes to release it Friday morning.

And here's a link to the NWS flood briefing page on its website.
