Food Reads: A Discussion Group Dedicated to Food will meet at 4:00 p.m. in Augustana’s Tredway Library to talk about one of America's most beloved books about food: Animal, Vegetable, Miracle: A Year of Food Life by Barbara Kingsolver & family.  The public is invited.  For more information, call 309-794-7823.

As part of the Women's History Month celebration, Dr. Ann Boaden will read from her new book Light and Leaven:  Women Who Shaped Augustana’s First Century at 4:30 p.m. in Augustana’s Wilson Center.

The public is invited to attend a Ward 6 Rock Island City Council Candidates Forum at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Rock Island beginning at 6:30 p.m. The forum will be moderated by David Garner, WVIK Augustana Public Radio.

Scharlott Blevins will speak on Finding Generations and Clues Through Land Records at 7 p.m. at the Rock Island County Illinois Genealogical Society meeting at the Rock Island County Historical Society Library in Moline. For more information, call 309-797-6352.
