Quad City Music Guild Light is looking for two volunteers to operate spotlights for their production of SHOUT! which opens this week.  To volunteer, call 309-762-6610.

Political economist Raj Patel will present the annual Donald B. McMullen Memorial Lecture in Biology at Monmouth College at 11 a.m. in the Dahl Chapel and Auditorium. Entitled How to Feed Africa and America, the lecture is free and open to the public.

The final Moline School Board candidate forum will be held at John Deere Middle School in Moline at 7:00 p.m.  Eight candidates have announced they will attend and field questions. 

As part of the Jewish Cultural Series 2011, the Jewish Federation of the Quad Cities is presenting Isra-Alien, an Israeli high-energy acoustic guitar duo at the Bettendorf Public Library at 7:00 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public.  For more information, call 309-793-1300.

Opening Thursday, Quad City Music Guild will present SHOUT! The Mod Musical at Prospect Park Theater in Moline at 7:30 p.m. Thursday thru Saturday; and at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. For tickets of more information, call 309-762-6610.
