Early morning blizzard photos

Here's the reason WVIK News Editor Michelle O'Neill is not on the air this morning. Needless to say, many schools are closed and many activities have been cancelled or postponed. The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities says 14.8 inches of snow fell on Tuesday (24 hour total) at the airport in Moline, and 16.5 inches have fallen over the last two days.

    Update: The National Weather Service says the storm total is 16.7 inches of snow, measured at the Quad City Airport in Moline. At the airport in Davenport, the storm total is 13.4 inches & at the Dubuque airport it's 13 inches.
