Today is the Registration deadline for Knox-Galesburg Symphony’s 18th annual Young Pianists Competition. The competition will take place on Saturday, March 19 at Carl Sandburg College.  There is no cost to enter the competition which is open to pianists ages 5 through 14.

Journalist and columnist Joel Mowbray will present Revolution in Egypt: Implications for the Middle East, Israel and the U.S. and the Possibilities Moving Forward at 4 p.m. in the Umbeck Science Mathematics Center of Knox College in Galesburg. The talk is free and open to the public.
