A fund-raiser for Habitat for Humanity will be held at Noodles & Company in Davenport from 4 to 9 p.m. to help local housing construction projects.

The Coming Attractions Book Club for grades 4 to 6 will discuss Guardians of Ga'Hoole by Kathryn Lasky at 5:30 p.m. at the Rock Island Library. Children will get a copy of the book to keep. For more information, call 309-732-7360

Monmouth College’s Latino Heritage Month celebration will kick off with an After Hours program at 9:30 p.m. in Scotland Yard in the Stockdale Center, featuring spoken-word artist Gabriela Garcia Medina and Latino dance performances by the campus organization Raices.

Tomorrow, Partners of Scott County Watersheds will be conducting a Rain Garden and Soil Quality Restoration Workshop and Demonstration at 1:00 p.m. at a Habitat for Humanity Home, 805 6th Street in Davenport.
