Jim Leach, Chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities, will speak on The Humanities' Role in Restoring Civility to Political Discourse at 10 a.m. at the Rogalski Center of St. Ambrose University.

Today through Sunday, Autumn Market Days will be held in LeClaire, featuring music, library book sale, craft show, demonstrations, barrel rolling, log sawing, and more. For information, call 563-289-9970.

The Lincoln Studies Center at Knox College presents a lecture Lincoln and Executive Power by Jennifer Weber at 4 p.m. in the Alumni Room of Old Main in Galesburg. The lecture is free and open to the public.

The Taste of the Moline/Coal Valley School District will be held at Wharton Field House in Moline beginning at 5 p.m. It will include performances by the high school drum corps and middle schools cheerleaders, food, games and more.
