Trees Forever will be hosting a Trees & Water Quality Symposium discussing the role of trees and other vegetation in helping to improve rural and urban water quality.

Scott County I-Club Dinner will meet at Thunder Bay Grille in Davenport beginning at 6 p.m. The featured speaker will be former Hawkeye and NBA player, Ryan Bowen, who is the current UI Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach. Duke University Professor Dr. David Brady will present Workers of the World, an examination of cross-national differences of work and workers at 7 p.m. at the Rogalski Center of St. Ambrose University. Tommy G. Thompson, former Presidential Cabinet member and
Governor of Wisconsin, will give Knox College's 2010 Opening Convocation address at 11 a.m. in Harbach
Theatre in the Ford Center for the Fine Arts. The convocation is free and open to the public.
