The Rock Island and Moline branch of the AAUW will meet May 7 at the Butterworth Center in Moline. Doll collector and historian, Ellen Tsagaris will present Oh You Beautiful Doll, a discussion of their connection to women. The program begins at 9:30 a.m.

The spring Beaux Arts Fair will be held at the Figge Plaza in Davenport, featuring artists, music, children’s activities, and more. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Circa '21 in Rock Island will present the last two performances of the children's musical Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day with show times at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.  For tickets or more information, call 309-786-7733, ext. 2.

To celebrate Mother’s Day, Niabi Zoo will offer talks on what it’s like to be a mother in the animal kingdom.  Zoo hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Mother’s Day there is no admission charge for moms.  For more information, call 309-799-5107.
