Today and Thursday, the Channel Cat Talk Mississippi River Photography will begin at 9 a.m. at the Celebration Belle Landing in Moline. Pre-registration is required; call 563-322-2969.

Junior Theatre will present two short plays at the Davenport Eastern Avenue Library will host shows at 10:00 a.m. today and next Tuesday. The shows will also be presented at the Fairmount Street Library on Friday July 8 and 15 at 10:00 a.m.  The shows are new each week and run about 30 minutes.  For more information, call 326-7832.

On Saturday and Sunday, the Genesius Guild will present the tragedy Ajax by Sophocles at 8 p.m. at Lincoln Park Classic Theater in Rock Island.
