The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will offer a six-mile bicycle tour of Arsenal Island at 9 a.m. A park ranger will guide the tour, which will begin and end at the Mississippi River Visitor Center at Locks and Dam 15. River Action’s Riverine Walk Hennepin Canal: Historic Landmark and Recreational Gem will be held at 9 a.m. at Lock 24, Roos Hill Road and Grange Road in Geneseo.  Pre-registration is required; call 563-322-2969.

The annual July 4th Festival at Francis Park in Kewanee starts with a pancake breakfast at 6 a.m. and runs thru 5 p.m. featuring music, crafts, activities, and more. For information, call 309-937-1255.

The fourth annual Recycled Float Race, with crafts made from recyclable household items, will be held at Lake Potter in Rock Island’s Sunset Park beginning at 9 a.m. For more information, call 309-732-7275.

Thirteen bands are scheduled to perform beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Bill Bowe Memorial Bandshell in Veterans' Memorial Park in Bettendorf.  Fireworks will begin at dusk.  For more information, call 563-344-4113.
