The Quad City Arts' 25th annual Festival of Trees at the RiverCenter in Davenport will open from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. For more information, call 563-324-3378.

Celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday at the Davenport Public Library by attending the final Specifically for Seniors event of the season at 1:00 p.m. at the Fairmount Street Branch featuring a performance by Vintage Voices recreating the golden era of radio. For more information, call 563-888-3371.

On Thursday, Bob Vogelbaugh's 40th annual community Thanksgiving dinner will be held from 4 to 6:30 p.m. in the SouthPark Mall food court in Moline. All are welcome.

Final Friday festivities will run from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Bucktown Center for the Arts in Davenport, featuring the opening of Festivus for the Rest of Us, music by Sarah Allner and more. For information, call 309-230-1594.

The state historic sites in Galena have scheduled several activities for the upcoming holiday season. The Old Market House in downtown Galena will be the site of Santa’s House, which will be open from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, with additional hours on Saturday and Sunday. Lamplight tours of the Ulysses S. Grant Home State Historic Site will be offered from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday thru Sunday. The home’s oil lamps will be lit and 1870s Victorian Christmas decorations will on display.

This weekend and next, Bishop Hill’s Julmarknad, or Christmas Market, will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Attractions include Swedish folk characters, traditional holiday decorations, workshops and exhibits. For more information, call 309-927-3345.
