Bob Vogelbaugh's 40th annual community Thanksgiving dinner will be held from 4 to 6:30 p.m. in the SouthPark Mall food court in Moline. All are welcome.

The Quad City Arts' 25th annual Festival of Trees at the RiverCenter in Davenport will open from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. For more information, call 563-324-3378.

The state historic sites in Galena have scheduled several activities for the upcoming holiday season. The Old Market House in downtown Galena will be the site of Santa’s House, which will be open from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, with additional hours on Saturday and Sunday. Lamplight tours of the Ulysses S. Grant Home State Historic Site will be offered from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday thru Sunday. The home’s oil lamps will be lit and 1870s Victorian Christmas decorations will on display.
