The Phoenix Art Gallery in Moline is seeking miniature paintings for an exhibit. Artists wishing to have their work included should contact the gallery by calling 309-736-0006.

Beginning at 2:30 p.m. at the Davenport Main Library, Arthur Pitz will present A Compelling Story: Davenport's Civil Rights History from 1945-1974, followed by Craig Klein with Davenport's Early Black Community, 1850-1920. For more information, call 563-326-7832.
