The Cities of Moline and Rock Island will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the West Rock River Bridge Trail Connector at 10:00 a.m. The ceremony will take place on the trail, south of 52nd Avenue between 7th Street and the Rock Island-Milan Beltway on-ramp in Moline. Parking is available across 52nd Street at Trinity Medical Center, 7th Street Campus Parking Lot.
