As part of the Big Read series, the Moline Library will host a discussion of the large type edition of Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury at 2 p.m. For information, call 309-524-2440.

Internationally acclaimed theatre company, DAH Teatar of Serbia, will present a series of free, public events during their residency this week at Knox College in Galesburg. Today, a public lecture The Role of the Artist in Dark Times will be given by the company’s artistic director at 4 p.m. in the Round Room of the Ford Center. Tomorrow, they will perform Crossing the Line at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. in the Studio Theatre in the Ford Center for the Fine Arts.

The Rogalski Center of St. Ambrose University will show Senorita Extraviada at 7 p.m. as part of The Ubiquity of Work series. For more information, call 563-333-6253.

The Scandinavian Department of Augustana and the Swenson Swedish Immigration Research Center are hosting a film festival this week called Beyond Bergman: Modern Swedish Film. Tonight’s film, Good Evening, Mr. Wallenberg, will be shown at 7 p.m. at the Hanson Hall of Science. The films are all in Swedish with English subtitles and may have content not be suitable for children. For more information, call 309-794-7204.
