At 7 p.m. in the Studio Theatre in the Ford Center for the Fine Arts in Galesburg, the one-woman show The Lydia Etudes will be performed by Dawn Arnold, artistic director of Moving Dock Theatre of Chicago. The performance is open to the public.

Thursday through Saturday, Carl Sandburg College will host the 8th Annual Black Earth Film Festival in the Fine Arts Theatre in Building F on the Main Campus in Galesburg.  The festival will kick off with the film The Day Carl Sandburg Died a documentary by Paul Bonesteel about the poet’s life and influence.
