The Putnam Museum in Davenport will present Thinking-Cap Thursday from 1 to 3 p.m. featuring fun challenges from cultures around the world. For more information, call 563-324-1054.

The Rock Island Library will host a Teen Iron Chef competition at 2:30 p.m. Like the TV series, contestants will be given a secret ingredient to make a dish for judging. Advanced registration is required. For more information or to register, call 309-732-7330.

The Poinsettias and Lights holiday floral show is on through Jan. 16 at Vander Veer Botanical Park Conservatory in Davenport.
