Black Hawk College will host a community discussion at 2 p.m. entitled Finding Solutions to Dropouts: Boosting Health across Generations in Conference Rooms 1 and 2 in Building 4 of the Moline campus.

At 5 p.m. at the Figge Art Museum, conductor Mark Russel Smith will host Inside the Music, a casual discussion of this weekend’s Quad City Symphony Masterworks III concerts. For more information, call 563-322-0931.

This weekend, the Quad City Symphony Orchestra will perform works by Wagner, Penderecki, and Mahler as part of the Masterworks III concert performed on Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Adler Theatre in Davenport and on Sunday at 2 p.m. in Centennial Hall of Augustana College.
