Thirty-two professional bakers from Iowa and surrounding states will compete to create cakes, cookies and cupcakes in the Hy-Vee Cake Decorating Contest from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at NorthPark Mall. Judging starts at 1 p.m. The baked goods will be donated to a local nonprofit organization.
