The Academy for the Arts in Rock Island is celebrating five years of early childhood music education in the Quad Cities by offering free Kindermusik classes August 11, 12, and 13 in Davenport, Rock Island, and Bettendorf. Opening today, the Bakery Gallery in Davenport presents an exhibition featuring Chicago artist B. Ingrid Olson entitled Push Ups. A reception will be held on Friday, August 27, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
