Partners of Scott County Watersheds will be hosting a monthly educational forum meeting at noon at the Bettendorf Crow Creek Fire Station. Ron Abbot of Schafer Fisheries in Thomson, Illinois will talk about their organic liquid fish fertilizer. An RSVP requested from anyone who would like lunch. The Trinity Sleep Center will present two free community education classes during May’s National Sleep Month. On Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., A Good Night’s Sleep: Not an Impossible Dream, will share information on how to achieve a better night’s sleep. On Thursday at 6:30 p.m., Sleep Apnea: The Thief of Sleep, will shed light on sleep apnea, daytime sleepiness, snoring, and behavioral changes. There is no cost to attend either class. At 1:00 p.m., in the Bettendorf Public Library’s Malmros Room, there will be a discussion of the 2009 All Iowa Reads book The Rope Walk by Carrie Brown led by Lea Farley.
