Beginning today and running through Friday, the David R. Collins Summer Writers' Conference will be held at St. Ambrose University. Workshops will include creative non-fiction, fiction, freelancing, poetry, marketing and publishing. For more information, call 563-324-1410.

The Quad Cities Senior Olympics will be held Wednesday through Saturday, with most events taking place at Augustana College, with a few held at the Tri-City Jewish center and CASI in Davenport.
